Gluster Support Model

Gluster has formulated a unique support model based on our extensive experience developing and supporting our sophisticated storage software. The architects and core developers from our engineering team regularly rotate into our support organization. As a result, we have built a support staff with deep knowledge about the product because they have either designed/developed it or they have been extensively trained by the core developers, some of whom are within their support rotation. When you call in, you will be talking to the experts right away, and they can help you efficiently resolve your issue. Our model has helped us create a very effective engagement, escalation, and resolution process.

Additionally, from our hands-on experience developing and testing the product, and from supporting numerous production and community deployments, our support personnel have developed deep expertise with the underlying hardware systems – physical and virtual/cloud – that Gluster runs on. Even when the root cause of an issue lies in underlying hardware or network infrastructure, rather than take a hands off "talk to your hardware vendor" approach, Gluster support personnel will help you troubleshoot and address those issues.

Subscriptions

Gluster offers a variety of subscription packages to fit all storage requirements and budgets. Subscriptions are priced per storage server with no limit on attached storage capacity and are offered on an annual basis.

There are three tiers of service levels ranging from basic to 24x7 enterprise support. In addition to these subscription packages, Elite Subscriptions are available for large enterprises looking to create a subscription with customized options tailored to the specific needs of the organization. Developer Subscriptions are are also available for companies building applications that are tightly integrated with Gluster and/or developing solutions that integrate Gluster into a broader offering.
